Who sells
The subscription is sold by Kakashi Venture Accelerator S.r.l., Corso Germano Sommeiller 31, 10128 Turin (TO), Italy — VAT no. IT12781800011, owner of the KANSEI publication. For any question or complaint write to redazione@kanseimagazine.com.
What you buy
Access, on kanseimagazine.com, to every piece in the sections marked as for subscribers on the Subscribe page, for as long as the subscription lasts. All other sections stay free. The subscription is tied to your account, is personal and cannot be transferred: the pieces are for you to read, not to republish or redistribute.
Price, payment and renewal
- The price is the one shown on the Subscribe page at the time of purchase, VAT included.
- Payment goes through Stripe: only Stripe sees and stores your card details, not KANSEI.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the same price, until you cancel it.
- If the price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to: until then you can cancel without paying the new price.
- If a payment fails, access is suspended until you update your payment method.
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time from the Subscribe page, with “Manage subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for: until then you keep reading everything, then the subscription does not renew. Unused parts of a period are not refunded, except where the law says otherwise.
Right of withdrawal
Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract (art. 52 of the Italian Consumer Code). The subscription, however, gives you access to digital content right after payment: so before you pay we ask you to confirm that you want access to start immediately and that you know that, once it has started, you lose the right of withdrawal (art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code). Without this confirmation the subscription is not activated.
We record your confirmation, with its date and the version of these terms, together with the subscription. You can always cancel as described above.
If something does not work
You are entitled to the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content under the Italian Consumer Code. If you cannot access the pieces you paid for, write to us: if the problem is ours and we cannot fix it, we refund the part of the period in which access did not work.
Account
To subscribe you need an account with an email and a password; we handle your data as described in the Privacy & Cookie Policy. We may suspend an account used in breach of these terms, for instance to redistribute pieces: we write to you first, except in urgent cases.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we tell you in advance: the new terms apply from the next renewal and, if you do not accept them, you can cancel before that date.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, disputes go to the court of the place where you live, and the protections of the law of your country of residence still apply.
