Who handles your data
The data controller is Kakashi Venture Accelerator S.r.l., Via Sant'Antonino 17/B, 10121 Turin, Italy — VAT 12781800011, owner of the KANSEI title. For any request about your data, write to privacy@kakashi.ventures.
What we collect
- Newsletter sign-up. When you subscribe, your email is collected and managed by Substack, which hosts our newsletter. We use it only to send you the issues.
- Browsing data. If analytics are enabled, we collect aggregate data such as page views, referrer and device type, through Google Analytics.
- No sensitive data. We do not ask for or process special categories of data. You don't need an account to read KANSEI.
Why we process it (legal basis)
- Newsletter: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Analytics and site security: our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping it running.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We rely on providers that process it on our behalf:
- Substack — sending the newsletter.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Supabase — database and content.
- Google Analytics — browsing statistics (if enabled).
Some providers may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
How long we keep it
Your email stays on the list until you unsubscribe (the link is at the bottom of every newsletter). Analytics data is kept in aggregate form for as long as needed for analysis.
Your rights
At any time you can request to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, object to processing, or receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–22 GDPR). Write to privacy@kakashi.ventures. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
We use the bare minimum:
- Essential cookies (always on): they make the site work — for example remembering your chosen language and, for those who access the reserved area, the session. No consent required.
- Analytics cookies (if analytics are enabled): Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits in aggregate form.
You can block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may stop some features from working correctly.
